Ruckus Media Group (Pty) Ltd, acting as the official South African Affiliate for the Network of Academic and Scholastic Esports Federations (NASEF), is thrilled to announce our skills development partnership with Siyafunda Community Technology Centre (CTC) with the aim of upskilling the many young people in those communities where they are active through the use of scholastic esports.

According to Sameer Padayachee, CEO, Siyafunda CTC, “our partnership with NASEF South Africa is a powerful step in unlocking the potential of young people through scholastic esports. We see esports not just as a game, but as a gateway to digital careers, creativity, and confidence. Together, we’re creating new pathways for learning and opportunity in communities that need it most.”

This partnership has already seen the commencement of training interventions with numerous youth development entities that fall under the Siyafunda CTC broader umbrella by giving these business owners and educators the necessary edtech tools, approaches, methods and skills to positively impact the lives of the communities in which they operate.
